The Access codes, IVR locations tab
In CallGuide Admin Locations, switches and access codes window, Access codes, IVR locations tab, you add information about the IVR locations’ prefixes for delivery to extension locations is processed.
To use this tab you need the access function Own location (for IVR) in your access profile.
The same access codes can be specified and seen in the Access codes, extension locations tab. The difference is that in Access codes for IVR locations all access codes are seen, regardless of organisation area.
Add access code for IVR location
To add a new access code for an IVR location, proceed as follows:
- From location
Select the IVR location from where to make connections.
- To organisation area
The access code relates to connections to an extension location in this organisation area.
- To location
Select the extension location that connections will be made to.
- Specify Prefix (access code) for delivery, if any.
A calling party within CallGuide calling from From IVR location at extension location will add this prefix before the extension number. If no prefix is required, leave empty.
- Choice of delay is not used in newer system but in order for the extension location’s access code to be used by the system, the value must be other than -1=Undefined.
- Save with OK.
Modify or remove access code for IVR location
Modifications and removal are done in the same way as for other tabs. The following is unique for the Access code for IVR location tab:
- Prefix for delivery and Delay can be modified directly in the list.
- From location, To organisation area and To location cannot be changed.
